Incredibly--yesterday was one of the 1st times the KKs have studied the story of Jesus blessing the children! This story is taught frequently in Sunday School, but it's been a while since we've dived into it, in Children's Church. It's very important for each child to understand just how precious they are to Jesus; so, we took our time yesterday & talked about how Jesus feels about kids.

Some interesting questions came out of our lesson; please check out the "Questions to talk about" and discuss them as a family. You can read the whole Bible story in Mark 10:13-16.

Memory Verse:

Mark 10: 14 "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! Fort the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children."

Story:
Jesus welcomes the children

Questions to talk about:
-What did the Disciples try to do with the kids who came to see Jesus?
-What did Jesus say to the Disciples?
-Who were Jesus' favorite people?
-Why does Jesus think kids (YOU!) are so great?

For next week:
-Memorize Mark 10:14 (it's in red at the top of this post!)
-Bring your Bible
-Work on memorizing the books of the Bible
-Practice looking up verses

Shout out to:
-Eizlee & Zynell for visiting! We hope you guys had a good time & that you'll come back and hang out with us again soon!
-Jacob! We hope you're enjoying Kingdom Kids; we're so happy to have you!
-Wes! For winning 'Musical Chairs'; and to Emma who made it a tough competition!
-All the kids who have been doing such a great job on their S.O.A.P. stuff!
